Importing Files into Photoshop
File Formats
You can import Adobe FreeHand files version MX and earlier and Adobe Fireworks PNG files. You can import image sequences in various formats including GIF PNG and JPEG.
Animation
As for animating them there's technically no such thing as an animated PNG.
