The UAE Fuel Price Committee has announced an increase in petrol and diesel prices effective August 1st. The committee released a comprehensive list of new rates, outlining the cost increases for different fuel categories.

Super 98 petrol, commonly used in high-performance vehicles, has seen a significant jump from Dh300 per liter in July to Dh314 per liter in August. Special 95 petrol, a common choice for regular vehicles, has also experienced an increase, moving from Dh21682 per liter to Dh2257 per liter.

The price adjustments have resulted in increased costs for full tank refills. For instance, the cost of filling a full tank of Super 98 petrol has risen by approximately Dh45, while Special 95 petrol has increased by about Dh35 compared to July.

The announcement comes after a 14-15 fils per liter reduction in fuel prices in July. The UAE government regularly reviews fuel prices and adjusts them based on global market conditions.
