Long Career
Darren had a long and successful career in show business, spanning over seven decades. Born James William Ercolani in Philadelphia on June 8, 1936, he began his career as a singer in the 1950s, scoring several hit songs, including "Goodbye Cruel World" and "Her Royal Majesty."
In the 1960s, Darren transitioned to acting, appearing in films such as "Gidget" (1959) and "The Guns of Navarone" (1961). He also had a starring role in the television series "The Time Tunnel" (1966-1967).
